i have to say that i’m quite glad i paid my $10 to be able to play carmageddon again! any tips for getting any more speed out of glidos would of course be appreciated. what would you say is most important cpu speed video card/drivers memory speed

08-03-09, 19:41. yes, it was the copy protection. i have no idea how to get that working, but i have a working version of glidos 1.53 installed. i have never had a problem getting glidos to work, and it works perfectly for me.

07-03-09, 21:26. so i’ve got a hacked version of glidos working, and i haven’t had any problems with it, but i don’t know how to get it to actually run.. i don’t know if it’s because i’m using linux or what, but i can’t run the game. it loads up (correctly) and then disappears into a black screen. the file works, but it doesn’t work for me.

you can actually run glidos without a cd, and it works fine. there is a crack for that, but it’s fairly easy to get. just right-click on the file, and go to properties, then select the compatibility tab, and click on the button “run this program in compatibility mode for”. it makes the “cd” file not work, and in order to get it to work, you’ll need to change the file to whatever file is on your c: drive (in my case, it was named “data.exe” and it has a.

just to clarify, glidos is a shareware program that doesn’t require a cd. the demo does not have the same crack as the full version, so that crack is incorrect. cracks found on the internet are often shared in forums by people who have no idea what they’re doing or how to crack a program.
glidos has the crack downloaded to it from the internet and it is not possible to play glidos without the crack. i have never had a problem playing glidos with a crack. i will repeat this for the thousandth time: you do not need a crack to play glidos.
i have been having the same problem since the day i got the game. i tried downloading other files of the same size to try and find a good patch. i have looked into the boot.ini, the glidos.dat file, and the glidos.ini file. every file has a crack that i can use (except the.dat and.ini files)
i have a long post about my problem with glidos, on the capcom forums, but i figured i would also post it here because the capcom people have nothing to do with it. i am having trouble playing glidos, and the reason for this is that there is no way to get around the cd check. i tried downloading the glidos 1.53 crack from the glidos website, but it did not work. every time i boot the game, it asks for a cd. i have tried every cd i can find, even the ones from other games, and it still won’t work. i have tried everything i can think of, including the iso files, the.dat files, the boot.ini file, the glidos.dat file, and the glidos.ini file. i have tried moving them to different locations. i have tried changing the boot.dat file, the glidos.ini file, and the glidos.dat file. i have also looked into the boot.ini, the glidos. everything has a crack, but i have been unsuccessful in getting the game to run without a disc. i have tried turning off my anti-virus program, and it still does not work.
