while it might not be as popular on the app store, just as we do our best to point out the titles that are worth it, we have to point out titles that are a good deal https://blogfreely.net/summerbronze32/the-app-promised-to-revolutionize-dating-but-its-almost-terrible-sales-forbut aren’t worth the money. the survey-based app happn is making the rounds, given that it tracks users with the app based on their physical location. while it may be useful for casual hookups in a small, close-knit community, it doesn’t seem like an effective hookup app for any random place in the world. the app’s user base is more likely to be composed of those who are single and/or looking to meet others who are also single and/or looking to meet others who are also single, so it’s not really a great tool for hookups if you’re looking for an average joe. even with those constraints, the app will only match you with other users who are nearby you. it’s a good way to get a jump on meeting people if you’re not necessarily looking for a hookup.
this little gem has to be the most bizarre attempt at a hookup app that we’ve seen. last year, a company named zipzipgo (yes, we can’t be bothered to confirm exactly who these people are and the possible connection to their competitor zipchat, but we’re just going to assume they’re going for a different slant on hookup apps) released an app titled “scruff” to the ios app store. it appeared to be an attempt to create a hookup app that was safer than others out there. after looking at it, it looks like one of those public service announcement style commercials. however, the premise of scruff is that you must go on five dates with five people at once in a very short period of time before you can find out if you can be friends with them, and you have to go on five separate dates before you can find out if you can call them your boyfriend/girlfriend.
