Our Story

The object of the game is to score a lot of points. This can be done either by completing one of the levels or by making it to the end of the game without missing any of the objectives. However, the game quickly becomes more challenging as the game goes on. As you can see from the title of the game “Firebird – Steam version”, this is the steam version.

Gameplay:

The game runs in a window and after starting you have the option to choose your level. At the start of each level you have to shoot the arrows. To shoot you simply click the mouse on the screen. You can move your ship using the mouse or you can click on the spacebar and your ship will move. This is all you need to know to play the game.

When you shoot, the number of points you receive will change. Depending on the color of the key you just shot, you will either receive 2, 4, 6 or 8 points. The game is objective based, so in this you have to get to a certain place at the end of the level. When you complete the level you also get a little present (based on how well you did). Depending on the level, you will either get extra points or the logo of the company which made this game. If your ship hits any obstacles on the level, it will give you 1, 2 or 3 points.

When you complete a level, you get the next one. This usually is a bit easier and gives you a few more bonus points. You also get to see your progress in the upper left corner of the screen. This is really helpful as it keeps you motivated to complete the level.

When you miss hitting an objective in the level, you will have to beat the game with all 4 objectives present in order to successfully complete the level. This is where the game gets more challenging as you will miss out a lot of points. If you complete a level successfully, you will be presented with a nice animation and music.

The levels are fully playable and are of different difficulties and are full of various objects. Some levels will involve things like, shooting down airplanes or hitting the enemies.
