Black Chapter is a psychological horror set in a dark, but purgatorial video game universe. Players take on the role of a police officer in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by the remnants of humanity’s past which is being controlled by the treacherous orders of the Brain, the videogame’s central antagonist. The player is leading his squad through the post-apocalyptic city-scape in a quest to uncover the truth behind the videogame’s plot in order to save his partner’s daughter from the clutches of Brain and to unravel the mystery of the artificial timeline that is being exploited by the Brain to create a new reality.

As a fan of the Black Chapter universe, you are invited to enjoy the artwork and background information developed for the videogame. The poster, booklet, and artwork you receive will be based on the original concept for the videogame.
Black Chapter – The Soundtrack:
You are invited to listen to the soundtrack recorded by the composer, Satoshi Mizukami, for the videogame. Based on his experience with the game, the original soundtrack contains the same ambience that was used for the entirety of the production.

In the game Black Chapter, players will interact with eight unique characters. We are happy to present artwork from the latest character design of each of the eight characters in the game. They were provided to us by the game’s developer, Alexander Jicha.

We’re inviting you to participate in the development process of the videogame. Additionally, you will receive information on the process of translating Black Chapter from Japanese into English.
– Upon purchase, please provide your name, email, address, age, and your answer to the survey and we’ll send you a digital artbook with your purchase. Additionally, you will be featured in the credits of the videogame.

    So a few posts ago I mentioned how I’d be changing up the game after the initial gameplay post. After some time I’ve realized that I just wasn’t seeing a lot of positive feedback from the title. Being the optimist that I am, I think it’s time to share my plans and thoughts on how the game is shaping up. So what’s changed and what’s coming? We’ll start with the changes I’ve made, then we’ll move on to my thoughts.So to start off with, a very quick change I made was moving the combat system from randomly generated battles to a much more rigid and gameplay focused battle system. This makes combat a lot more strategic and enjoyable to play. Now I don’t know if you were following along, but I just got done battling my first Boss in the game. Normally I’d leave it at that, but I have some more to share with you.The first change I made was in allowing the player to learn the skill tree. For those who didn’t read my first post about the game and my design goals, my primary design goal was to keep the feeling of an 80s and 90s console RPG experience that you get when you play those classic RPGs like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy V, and so on. For me, keeping that feeling was paramount. Now it’s time to dig into the details of how I’ve done it.So first I was wanting to do something that would draw inspiration from Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy V, and Dragon Quest. What I ended up doing was building the character sheet out with the main characters from those games. This was something I think people enjoyed seeing. You get to see the personalities of the characters, and you get to spend time in the game with them. This is important for the game and its story as the whole story takes place from the perspective of the different characters. I also wanted to include information about what skills they were able to use. I remember reading a comment when the game first came out where a person mentioned they wished they knew what each of the abilities did. I think this is something players would like to know as it’s fun to learn about the abilities and what they do.So once I had the characters created I started to think about the features I wanted for each. This process got me thinking about what I liked and didn’t like about other games. The big thing was the overwhelming features in games I played on the older consoles. I decided to remove as many
